DIAGNOSTIC ACCURACY TRIPLE SCANNING ANGLE FOR TOMOSYNTHESIS

IMAGING MODALITIES FOR EACH EXAMINATION

  • 15° SCREENING : the smallest DBT scan angle is optimal when an extremely short scan time is required (even 2.5s) to minimise movement, artefacts and patient discomfort.
  • 24° STANDARD DIAGNOSIS : The DBT intermediate angle always has a short scan time (4s) and excellent sharpness. It guarantees better resolution and is an optimal choice for standard diagnostic procedures.
  • 50° IN-DEPTH DIAGNOSIS : wide-angle DBT, which requires a longer scan time (7.7s), improves discrimination of overlapping tissues (for in-depth analysis).

HIGH RESOLUTION 2D AND 3D IMAGES :

  • Digital detectors with amorphous selenium and amorphous silicon technology.
  • COMBO mode: acquisition of 2D and 3D images during the same compression cycle.
  • M-View/VI software: 2D synthetic images.
  • Automatic collimation.
  • Smart μ Press" compression.

IMPROVED ERGONOMICS :

  • Smoother movements thanks to isocentric servo-assisted movements of the headband.
  • Multi-switches to help the operator manage the motorised movements of the rollbar.
  • Full-colour touch screens to view and manage all examination parameters.
  • When the C-arm is rotated, a highly sensitive obstacle detection system ensures maximum safety for the patient.

STAND-ALONE ACQUISITION STATION :

While in the standard configuration, the acquisition and control station (AWS) is integrated into the mammography system, Helianthus DBT can also be offered as a stand-alone unit equipped with a transparent X-ray protection barrier enabling the operator to optimise and manage the workflow remotely.

This configuration includes a 15″ touch screen that facilitates complete control of the mammography system.

OPTIONS :

  • Bym 3D DMD: a three-dimensional biopsy device enabling biopsy procedures to be performed using stereotaxis or tomosynthesis.
  • Magnification kit: geometric magnification device (1.5x or 1.8x or 2x). Without an anti-diffusion grid, the radiation dose applied is significantly reduced.
  • Compression paddles: various optional compression paddles are available (specific for geometric magnification, for examining details, and perforated for two-dimensional biopsy procedures).
